WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 15 general medical calls, one respiratory case, one diabetic case and one seizure.

— At 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and Martin Lither King Jr. Drive.

— At 7:48 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 2005 Fortune Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1200 Rolling Hills Lane. it was a false alarm.

— At 8:08 a.m., 9:47 a.m., 10:19 a.m., 5:35 p.m. and 7:09 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to alarms at Phoenix House, 50 N. Main St. All were false alarms.

— At 10:19 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 5 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

 At 8:23 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Lexington and Venable roads for an investigation.

— At 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the 5 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to McClure Road for an investigation.

— At 11:37 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Iron Works Road.

— At 2:21 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Trapp Goffs Corner Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Nicholas Buckland, no age given, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property.

— Tiffany Brooke Cartwright, 35, was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, no or expired registration plate and failure to maintain insurance

— Joshua Dylan Neal, 20, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking and alcohol intoxication.

— Joe W. Pugh, 51, was charged Wednesday with sale or transfer of a simulated controlled substance.

Reports

— At 12:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 62 Melbourne St. concerning a theft.

— At 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 104 Spruce Court concerning a stolen scooter.

— At 4:37 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 27 W. Broadway St. concerning a theft. Nicholas Buckland and Joshua Neal were arrested on various charges.

— At 10:44 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning harassing communications.
