GRC hosts annual career fair for students

George Rogers Clark High School students poured into the gymnasium Friday morning to had the to meet and greet with a representative from several companies and colleges across the region to explore their options after graduation.

The college and career fair lasted from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce and George Rogers Clark High School Youth Services Center sponsored the event.

Representatives from each company or college talked with students about entry-level jobs and the various types of careers, promotion opportunities or training and education opportunities available at their business.

Numerous businesses throughout the community took part in the fair, including Clark Regional Medical Center, Central Bank, U.S. Army, the Navy, Sekisui, the Winchester Fire Department, Amazon and more.
