Trunk or treat at Cornerstone Christian

Cornerstone Christian Church, 40 Belmont Ave., will hosted a trunk or treat and fall festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. There will also be a pig roast, chili cookout, spooky walk, haunted house, live music and carnival.

Halloween event at Epperson FCOG

Epperson First Church of God, 14475 Irvine Road, will host a halloween event, including a car show, vendors, trunk or treat and a chili and soup dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church. This is a fundraiser for new pews. For more information, cll 859-398-0200.

Trunk or treat at First COG

First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road, will host a trunk or treat from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church. There will be inflatables, free food and trunks full of candy. Open to the public. Rain or shine.

Fall festival at El-Bethel UMC

El-Bethel United Methodist Church, 5229 Trapp Goffs Corner Road, will host a fall festival Saturday with trunk or treat at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and an auction at 7 p.m.

Homecoming at Providence Baptist

Providence Baptist Church Old Boonesboro Road will celebrate homecoming at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Shireys will perform and a potluck will follow. All are welcome.

Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove

What does an old, rusted-out car have to do with the Gospel? Find out this Sunday at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, as we celebrate the Reformation. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Bid Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Trinity UMC services, thrift store

Trinity United Methodist Church, 307 N. Main St., welcomes the community to services at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. The church also operates the Trinity UMC Thrift Store at 302 N. Main St. every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on the first and second Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Services at Liberty Bible Church of God

Services at Liberty Bible Church God are as follows: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday church services, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday evening Bible study, 6 p.m.; and youth group, 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Interim pastor is Jerry Owen. Guest speaker is Brock Barnhouse.

Prayer event for election

There will be ”Meet Me at the Pole” prayer events for the coming election at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, Oct. 28 and Nov. 4. All events will be at the flagpole in front of the Clark County Court House. 

Yard sale at Providence Pentecostal

Providence Pentecostal Church, 7076 Old Boonesboro Road, will host an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
