Mildred Gibson Mays, daughter of the late Chester and Pearl Pope Gibson, and widow of Linville Mays, died Oct. 13 at the hospital in Delray Beach, Fla., with her family at her bedside. She was born June 27, 1928.

Her daughter, Betty Riblett, was her loving caretaker.

She is survived by sons Mike (Carol) Mays, Joey (Mary) Mays and her daughter, Betty; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Berryman; and brother, Bill (Sue) Gibson.

She is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Billy Ray; her parents; sisters, Ruth May and JoAnn Horn, and brother, Chester Gibson, Jr.

She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Delray, where services and reception were held.
