CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Henry Curtis, 52, of Owingsville, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, no registration plate, no registration receipt and no proof of insurance.

— Tonya Jackson, 41, of 599 Wilderness Drive, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, careless driving, no registration plate, no insurance and possession of marijuana.

— Mark Yanakeff, 34, of Michigan, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking and alcohol intoxication.

Reports

— At 9:22 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to FasMart, 5400 Revilo Road, concerning a theft of beer. Mark Yanakeff was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and alcohol intoxication.

— At 11:31 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Walgreen, 2045 Bypass Road, concerning the fraudulent use of a credit card.

Accidents

— At 3:54 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which a pickup truck driven by James D. Carpenter of 6459 Iron Works Road went off the road and struck a tree. Carpenter, who was alone in the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 30 general medical calls, nine cardiac cases, one stroke, one seizure and one obstetric case.

— At 11:17 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at the Clark County Detention Center. It was a false alarm.

— At 8:26 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1120 W. Lexington Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 3:54 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4800 Iron Works Road.

— At 11:04 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington and Long avenues.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Dee Ann Boyd, 33, was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property.

— Charles D. Chandler, 41, was charged Saturday with violation of an EPO/DVO.

— Wesley Eric Faulkner, 42, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Erin M. Regan-Schneider, 47, was charged Sunday with public intoxication and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— William C. Rose, 22, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

— Arminda Maria Swinford, 42, was charged Friday with alcohol intoxication (two counts), prescription controlled substance not in proper container and was served a warrant.

— Jeffrey Thomas Wisecup, 27, was charged Friday with murder.

— At 8 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 428 W. Washington St. concerning a theft after electrical wires were cut.

— At 10:49 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive concerning a person who was deceased for several days. Jeffrey Thomas Wisecup was arrested and charged with murder.

— At 2:11 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 150 Magnolia St. concerning a stolen EBT card.

— At 4:02 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 213 Buffalo Trace concerning a theft of clothes from a vehicle.

— At 10:18 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 137 E. Broadway St. for a fight in progress. Arminda Maria Swinford was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 9:55 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 101 Hughes Ave. concerning a stolen laptop computer from a vehicle.

— At 10:52 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 15 Memorial Park for a harassment complaint.

— At 12:16 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive for a domestic disturbance.

— At 1:03 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.

— At 1:43 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning credit card fraud.

— At 3:27 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 148 Cook Ave. concerning a theft of tools from a vehicle.

— At 6:43 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1307 W. Lexington Ave. concerning an EPO violation. Charles Chandler was arrested and charged with violation of an EPO/DVO.

— At 6:59 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 49 Evans St. after someone entered a residence and stole a 50-inch television.

— At 7:07 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 720 Boone Ave. concerning a theft.

— At 11:58 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 18 Boone Ave. after someone spray painted a truck.

— At 4:18 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1 Linden Lane after someone broke a window at a residence.

— At 3:39 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 428 W. Washington St. after someone broke into a residence.

— At 5:18 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 17 Fairview Ave. concerning an assault.

— At 9:25 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning an assault and an emergency protection order.

Accidents

— At 6:13 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an injury accident on Corporate Drive in which Wendell G. Stepp of 528 Estes Drive said he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. Stepp said he lost control and his vehicle ended up in a ditch on the opposite side of the road. Stepp was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
