Sonya H. Reichel, 83, widow of Raymond J. Reichel Jr., passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Owsley Co. on October 24, 1935 to the late George and Edna Moore Duff. She worked for the Clark Co. Board of Education and also retired from J.C. Penney where she worked for 11 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a very active volunteer for Hospice. She also served proudly in the United States Air Force.

She is survived by one son, Raymond (Brenda H.) Joseph Reichel III; two grandsons, Steven Joseph Reichel, Jason Scott Reichel; two brothers, Jim Duff, Claude Duff; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by six sisters, Glora, Dora, Dolly, Pauline, Annette, and Georgia.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home.

Services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Father Frank. Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
