WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Lydia Galloway, 33, was charged monday with theft by unlawful taking, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and first-degree promoting contraband.

— Brandi Nicole Parker, 34, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking and first-degree criminal trespassing.

— Micheal Wayne Sallee, 28, was charged Monday with trafficking in a controlled substance, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 1:32 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a counterfeit money order.

— At 2:13 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass, concerning two suspected shoplifters. Shavonne Salazar and Sommer D. Woods were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 4:16 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Barbara Moore was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 4:24 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 106 Nelson Ave. for an assault.

— At 5:34 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 133 Holly Ave. after a recreational vehicle was damaged.

— At 7:01 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Latoyia Childers was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 7:27 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 145 Magnolia St. concerning the theft of two wallets and cash.

— At 10:14 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning harassing communications.

— At 6:08 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 31 E. Washington St. concerning a theft of money.

— At 11:08 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 427 Oxford Drive after someone entered a residence and took several items.

— At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 307 College St. concerning a theft of scaffolding.

— At 4:69 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Brittany N. Childers was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 8:58 p.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning an assault.

— At 10:46 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 3495 Stamper Drive concerning a package containing marijuana.

— At 2:20 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 175 Winn Ave. for a harassing communications complaint.

— At 5:36 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report for a harassing communications complaint.

— At 7:55 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a theft.

— At 8:09 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a theft and assault.

— At 8:13 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1476 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of a pizza.

— At 11:53 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 201 N. Main St. concerning a theft.

— At 2:38 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 55 N. Main St. concerning the theft of a cake. Brandi Nicole Parker was arrested on multiple charges.

Accidents

— At 6:22 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Richard P. Sellers of 3586 Stamper Drive was traveling south on Bypass Road. As he approached Lexington Avenue, a vehicle in front of him stopped as the traffic light changed and struck the vehicle, driven by Clara R. Gokey of Flemingsburg, in the rear. Sellers was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to seven general medical calls, five cardiac cases, one respiratory case and two seizures.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 6:14 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Muddy Creek Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Sandra Risner, 36, of 314 E. Washington St., was charged Saturday with no seat belt, no registration plate, no insurance, driving under the influence and no operator’s license.

Reports

— On Friday, deputies were called to Pine Ridge Road after someone stole a tractor from a farm.

— At 9:19 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 1225 Athens Boonesboro Road concerning an assault.

— At 6:49 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 645 Westmeade Drive after a person was bitten by a dog.

— At 12:31 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 300 Athens Boonesboro Road after three firearms were taken from a camper.

— At 2:24 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 933 Ecton Road after someone broke into a storage building and took several items.

— At 7:33 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 235 Embs Road after someone broke into a barn and took several items.

— At 3:13 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 565 Constitution Drive after someone used the caller’s credit card information without permission.

Accidents

— At 10:56 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64 in which Jeffrey R. Wise of 237 Ecton Road was traveling west when he lost control of his vehicle. Wise’s pickup truck went off the road and overturned several times. Wise was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

— At 3:33 p.m. Nov. 7, deputies responded to an injury accident on Athens Boonesboro Road in which Jesse Abrams of Berea was traveling west when his vehicle crossed the center line, went over an embankment and struck a tree. Abrams was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
