The annual Winchester-Clark County Community Thanksgiving Service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Central Baptist Church, 101 W. Lexington Ave.
The combined service is sponsored by the Winchester-Clark County Association of Churches and hosted by Central Baptist Church.
“It is an opportunity for all believers to come together to give thanks to God,” according to a press release from the AOC. “Everyone is invited to attend, and the service is open to all churches and denominations.”
Featured music during the evening will include “The Big Sound” children’s choir under the direction of Steve Crosby of Calvary Christian Church, and an adult unity choir, directed by Michael Houchens of Central Baptist Church, which will sing “Come Ever Reign.”
Shawna Mitchell from First Christian Church will also share a special moment with children attending the service.
The Rev. Farley Stuart of First United Methodist Church will share the Thanksgiving service message.
An offering will be taken to support the transient ministry, which is administered under the direction of Clark County Community Services.
A time of fellowship with desserts will follow the service. All are asked to bring a dessert to share. Coffee will be provided.
