WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Billy Anderson, 62, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration plates and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.

— Sheila Conrad, 30, was charged Wednesday with public intoxication of a controlled substance.

— Heather Renee Mahan, 34, was charged Wednesday with public intoxication of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 1:39 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 701 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a dumpster fire.

— At 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 97 Talbott Ave. concerning a burglary.

— At 8:37 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the area of Jackson and Washington streets concerning a power line pulled down by a tractor trailer.

— At 9:38 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 1313 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft of lottery tickets and food totaling about $900.

— At 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 1466 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a female customer passing out at the table and going in and out of the bathroom. Employees suspected she was doing drugs on the property.

— At 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 116 Strode Station Circle concerning a stolen rocking chair and blow dryer.

— At 7:56 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 205 Sterling St. concerning an assault.

— At 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 15 New St. concerning a stolen iPhone.

— At 10:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report of child abuse.

— At 11:23 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 508 College St. concerning a noise disturbance.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, emergency medical personnel responded to 19 general medical calls, one cardiac case, four respiratory cases, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Maple Street and Interstate 64.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a possible barn fire at Old Boonesboro and Bob White roads.

— At 2:46 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS with a call on Crowe Ridge Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

— At 2:46 p.m. Wednesday, deputies conducted a death investigation at 834 Crowe Ridge Road.

Accidents

— At 3:44 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a non-injury accident on Boonesboro Road in which a 2006 Nissan Altima driven by Joshua Meredith of Stanford rear-ended a 2010 Honda Accord driven by Mary Rose French of Richmond. According to the report, Meredith was traveling behind French headed south on Boonesboro Road when the vehicle in front of French stopped abruptly, causing her to stop quickly and veer to the right. Meredith also stopped quickly but could not avoid striking the rear of French’s car causing damage to both vehicles.
