Food pantry at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will open a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry will be open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.

Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove

This week, the congregation of Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, Winchester, will celebrate Christ the King Sunday by considering what it means to say that Jesus Christ is “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” Worship at “The Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Trinity UMC services, thrift store

Trinity United Methodist Church, 307 N. Main St., has Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. The church also operates the Trinity UMC Thrift Store at 302 N. Main St. every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on the first and second Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Services at First Presbyterian Church

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays.
