The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court Nov. 15, 2018, with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding.

— Charles Saylor, second-degree escape, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— Steve Ballard, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years probation.

— Christopher L. Gipson, second-degree assault, pleaded guilty, sentenced to five years; intimidating a participant in legal process, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years concurrent; intimidating a participant in legal process, dismissed; bribing a witness, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years concurrent; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— Chasity Sowder, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (three counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years and one day concurrent, probated for three years, must complete drug court program; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— Velvet Miller, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent, probated for five years, must complete drug court; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (three counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to five years concurrent, probated for five years, must complete drug court.
