CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to College for Technical Education, 2135 Bypass Road, concerning a former student making threats.

— At 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 660 White Turley Road after three rings were stolen from the caller’s purse and pawned.

Accidents

— At 6:42 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 3 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway in which Connie G. Stacker of Stanton said she was traveling west when she hit ice on a bridge and lost control. Stacker was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center after complaining of chest pain.

— At 3:36 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 98 mile marker on Interstate 64 in which Timothy W. Curtis of Hillsboro was traveling west when he hit a patch of ice and lost control of his vehicle, which overturned several times. Curtis was transported for medical care by private vehicle.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 15 general medical calls and two cardiac cases.

— At 2:32 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and Pedro Way.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Carolyn Eversole, 62, was charged Tuesday with theft of property.

— Randy R. Ritchie, 36, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts), and was served two warrants.

Reports

— At 8:11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 23 Goldie Ave. concerning a theft from a vehicle.

— At 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen firearm.

— At 11:26 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 308 W. Lexington Ave. concerning an assault.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to Wexford Drive for a smell of smoke in the area.

— At 1:54 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near the 99 mile marker on Interstate 64.
