CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— John Gaither, 75, of 264 Calmes Blvd., was charged Friday with fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 10:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 106 Mary Way concerning the theft of an air compressor.

— At 9:14 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 12858 Iron Works Road after someone broke into a residence and took several items.

— At noon Sunday, deputies were called to 515 Morris Road concerning a sexual assault from five or more years ago.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 41 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, eight respiratory cases, one stroke and two seizures.

— At 9:14 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Rose Mary C. Brooks Place, 200 Rosemary Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 5:04 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 387 Boone Ave.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:20 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Justice Elementary School.

— At 1:09 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Revilo Road.

— At 2:56 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 309 Salem Drive for an investigation.

— At 5:31 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to Irvine Road for a smell of gas in the area.

— At 7:27 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road.

— At 11:38 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Heather Lane.

— At 11:04 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Revilo Road.

— At 6:36 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 4274 Colby Road for an investigation.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Jayme Barker, 32, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and was served two warrants.

— Joseph L. Harney, 38, was charged Saturday with no or expired registration plate, driving on a suspended operator’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Tiffanie M. Lohman, 34, was charged Saturday with public intoxication, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

— Melissa Peters, 37, was charged Saturday as a fugitive from another state.

— Robert Douglas Purcell, 51, was charged Sunday with first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

— At 11:03 a.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a theft of Social Security funds.

— At 12:45 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 120 Codella Drive concerning a theft of beer.

— At 3:36 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a suspected shoplifter. Jayme Barker was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 3:52 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1113 Pioneer Drive concerning a stolen truck.

— At 4:45 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 82 Tyler Banks Court concerning a stolen package.

— At 5:06 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 109 W. Hickman St. for a fight in progress.

— At 9:38 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 106 Buckingham Lane concerning the theft of identification and bank cards from a vehicle.

— At 11:36 a.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning a lost or stolen handgun.

— At 7:55 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a found wallet near 601 Boone Ave.

— At 8:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1960 Bypass Road concerning a theft of toys.

— At 9:17 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 135 Linden Ave. concerning a theft of an inflatable Santa Claus.

— At 9:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 54 Melbourne St. concerning a stolen wallet.
