— Tanner D. Grigsby, 20, of 105 Quail Ridge Road, was charged Monday with fourth-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief.

— David Stephens, 43, of Jeffersonville, was charged Tuesday with promoting contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and was served a warrant.

Accidents

— At 2:18 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Whitney N. Slone of 109 Overlooking Drive and Connor M. Risner of Banner were trying to beat a red light and collided. Slone was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Reports

— At 3:23 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 220 Logan Lick Road after a a verbal argument which led to shots being fired into the air.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 15 general medical calls, one cardiac case and four respiratory cases.

— At 2:19 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bypass Road near Interstate 64.

— At 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 13 Kentucky St. It was out when firefighters arrived.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Tiffany Jonell Carrington, 33, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking, giving an officer false identifying information, disorderly conduct and was served three warrants.

— Franklin T. Harlow, 32, was charged Monday with theft by deception.

— Kelley R. Rozman, 46, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 9:18 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a suspected shoplifter. Tiffany Jonell Carrington was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 7:03 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 27 Second St. concerning an identity theft.

— At 11:26 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 22 Goldie Ave. concerning a person threatening the caller with a gun.

 

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:26 a.m. Monday, firefighters had a service call on Primrose Lane.

— At 9:44 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Muddy Creek Road.
