Joyce Embs, 78, passed away December 4, 2018 at her home.

She was born November 26, 1940 in Estill Co., Ky. to the late Evelyn and Lloyd Stanley.

After high school she served in the US Army , from 1961-1964. She retired from Bluegrass Army Depot in 1993 and also worked as a nurses aide at Darby Square Nursing Home in Lexington for seven years.

She is survived by her sisters; Shirley Wehmer of Austin, Tx., Maxine Livingston of Davie, Fl., Virginia Fulton, Winchester and brother Wayne Stanley ,Lexington.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her former husband, Delbert Embs.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 14 at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home at 5:00 pm by Diandre Hensley. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm till the hour of service.
