TODAY

— Write Local meeting, 10 a.m. at Clark County Public Library.

— The African-American Series discussion on osteoporosis and healthy recipes, 11 a.m. at the Clark County Health Department. Park in the lower lot and join the group for a potluck. Bring a healthy dish to share. There will also be an ornament exchange. To participate, bring a wrapped ornament. All in the community are invited to attend. — Winchester Rotary Club meeting, noon at Woody’s, 923 Bypass Road.

— “Old Little Town of Trapp,” presentation, 6 to 8 p.m. at former Trapp Elementary. The free event will include a live nativity, a Christmas light display, cookies, cocoa and pictures with Santa Claus.

— Shop After Dark on Main and Court streets. Businesses will be open until 7 p.m. to offer extra time for holiday shopping. Visit shops in downtown Winchester to register for the annual gift giveaway.

SATURDAY, DEC. 15

— Winchester-Clark County Farmers’ Market Christmas Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 26 N. Main St. There will be meat, homemade breads, Kentucky Proud Christmas gifts, jams, jellies, honey, coffee, handcrafted jewelry, woodworking products and more. — Party to celebrate the 67th wedding anniversary of Frank and Audrey Puckett, 2 p.m. at Yorktown Mobile Home Estates community room. There will be  soups, a potluck meal and live bluegrass, country and gospel music.
