Justice Elementary students carol around town

Justice Elementary School students spent their day Thursday spreading some Christmas cheer.

The kindergarten classes, donned in reindeer antlers, Santa hats and Christmas light necklaces, visited Rose Mary C. Brooks Place and the courthouse to sing Christmas carols

They sang “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer,” “Up on the House Top” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Joyce Reffett, a resident in the independent living cottages at Brooks Place, said she enjoyed listening to the students sing, and it brought some joy to her day.“

“That was sweet,” she said after the students were finished singing.
