CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— William Haddix, 57, of Berea, was charged Saturday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license and public intoxication.

Reports

— At 4:16 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Storage Rentals of America, 1280 W. Therese Drive, after someone broke into a storage unit and took several items.

Accidents

— At 9:41 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Paris Road in which Travis D. Hall of 60 Winn Ave., was traveling east when another vehicle turned in front of him. Hall said he slammed on his brakes to avoid the collision and was struck from behind by another vehicle, driven by Erica D. Pillion of 736 Dogwood Lane. Pillion was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 43 general medical calls, eight cardiac cases, four respiratory cases, one stroke, one seizure and two overdoses.

— At 11:17 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 61 N. Maple St.

— At 3:25 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Bypass Road.

— At 12:16 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 200 Moundale Ave

— At 5:25 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an unauthorized fire at 41 Clay St.

— At 1:34 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 7:17 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 307 Jackson St.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 9:44 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at the 8 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 10:42 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Combs Ferry Road.

— At 6:59 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Paris and Pretty Run roads.

— At 9:19 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Blueberry Lane.

— At 12:37 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Wexford Drive.

— At 11:50 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Southwind Drive.

— At 1:35 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 8:26 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Rockwell Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Donte L. Jordan, 30, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Eric Eugene Rison, 32, was charged Friday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts), public intoxication and was served a warrant.

— John Sanchez, 21, was charged Saturday with first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, failure to maintain insurance, driving under the influence, following another vehicle too closely, driving on an expired operator’s license and possession of open container of alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle.

— At 8:38 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 1330 Fulton Road concerning a theft from an air pump and vacuum.

— At 11:55 a.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an employee theft of gift cards.

— At 10:38 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 5 Arlington Road for a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 1:03 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a vehicle pursuit on Lexington Avenue. John Sanchez was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 10:53 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 256 Boone Ave. concerning a stolen motorcycle.

— At 11:58 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning a domestic abuse case.

— At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a stolen purse.

— At 8:09 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 27 W. Broadway St. concerning a theft. Donte Jordan was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 4:20 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 9 Hiawatha Trail concerning an assault.

— At 5:43 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an assault.
