—  Winchester Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. at Winchester Elks Lodge #2816, 255 Shoppers Drive. Buffet Style Breakfast for only $8. All Beacon of Hope Residence will eat free of charge. All proceeds donated will go to the Winchester Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter.

SUNDAY, JAN. 6

— Winchester Elks Lodge annual Hoop Shoot, 2 p.m. at College Park Gym. Registration opens at 1:30 p.m. Open to all children age 8 to 13 based on contestant’s age on April 1, 2019. There will be separate divisions for boys and girls with age groups 8 to 9, 10 to 11 and 12 to 13. There will be certificates, awards and prizes.
