WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 19 general medical calls, one cardiac case, two overdoses and one obstetric case.

— At 9:50 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a chimney fire at 5615 Ecton Road.

— At 2:15 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Fountain Circle, 200 Glenway Road.

— At 3:06 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 207 Cedar Court.

— At 4:37 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 1437 Westwood Drive.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Joshua Wayne Couch, 38, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.

— Scott Perkins, 19, was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault.

Reports

— At 2:12 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 216 E. Broadway St. concerning an assault. Joshua Wayne Couch was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 9:17 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Storage Rentals of America, 1280 W. Therese Drive, after someone damaged the security gate during the night. It was not known whether any units were entered.

Accidents

— At 10:52 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Paris Road in which Randy E. Fodrey was traveling north when he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle. It slid across the opposite lane of the road before striking a guardrail and a utility pole. Fodrey was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
