Resolve to visit the library in 2019

The new year is a great time to resolve to visit the wonderful Clark County Public Library.

The hard-working staff at the library is always willing to help you find exactly what you need and enjoy.

In fact, the staff is always looking for the new books, music and movies that will connect with library users.

Indeed, just recently, I checked out “The Library Book” by Susan Orlean. It is an enjoyable book that details the writer’s lifelong love of libraries.

She confesses she wrote the book “to tell about a place I love that doesn’t belong to me but feels like it is mine, and how that feels marvelous and exceptional.

“All the things that are wrong in the world seem conquered by a library’s simple unspoken promise: Here I am, please tell me your story; here is my story, please listen.”

So, head to the library and check out this great book or one that appeals to you. You will be glad you did.
