Danny Glen Lovings II, 58, widower of Sharon Brandenburg Lovings, departed this life Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.

A native of Clark County, he was born on June 12, 1960, to Lenora Smith Lovings and the late Danny Glen Lovings. He was a truck driver, a mason and a Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Ethan James Lovings; daughter, Natasha Lovings Rogers; two granddaughters, Katelyn and Jenna Rogers; nephew, Kaleb Lovings of Zephyr Hills, Florida; brother, Randy Lee (Tammy) Lovings; sister, Dana (Jay) Titus of Mt. Sterling; niece, Stephanie (Ronnie) Goodpaster of Mt. Sterling, KY.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife, father, and grandparents, James and Carmie Lee Smith; and Earl and Valarie Lovings.

Funeral services will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Ark of Mercy Church of God, 240 Winn Avenue, Winchester, KY by Rev. Billy Ray Claypoole and Pastor Janice Claypoole. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A celebration of life to follow.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service on Wednesday at Ark of Mercy Church of God.
