The LLL Band, directed by Dora Henry, performed for the LLL Club with several Christmas carols and skits at the club’s meeting and potluck luncheon Dec. 18 at Central Baptist Church.

President David Hoffman opened the meeting with prayer.

BJ Wasson, devotional speaker, read I Thessalonians 5:16-18 on “Be Joyful, Never Stop Praying and Be Thankful.”

Minutes were read by Gayle Crowe and the treasurer’s report was given by Phyllis Henderson. Both were approved as read.

The next club meeting will be Jan. 15.

Hoffman made a motion that the officers would maintain their officer for the new year, which was accepted by all.

Hoffman read the prayer list and the Rev. Kevin Brian closed the meeting with prayer.

Paul Aitchison gave the table blessing.
