CLARK COUNTY  SHERIFF

Charged

— Cody S. Newton, 22, of 220 E. Broadway St., was charged Tuesday with third-degree burglary (three counts).

Reports

— At 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, deputies took a report concerning a business dispute.

— At 7:04 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 107 Heather Lane concerning a vehicle which was stolen Saturday. The vehicle was recovered and returned Tuesday.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to eight general medical calls, three cardiac cases, four respiratory cases and one seizure.

— At 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bypass Road.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 3:07 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— James Anthony Dixon, 32, was charged Tuesday with theft of identity and driving on a suspended operator’s license.

— Chase Winings, 20, was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault.

Reports

— At 1:52 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Lexington Avenue and Arlington Road for a report of gunshots. Chase Winings was later arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

— At 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, officers began investigating a shooting after the victim showed up at the police department, 16 S. Maple St.

— At 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 27 Madison Ave. concerning an assault with a board.

— At 6:13 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a person sending threatening messages over social medial.

— At 7:36 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 11 Wilson Lane for a harassing communications complaint.

— At 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning possible child abuse.

— At 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning suspected drug activity. James Anthony Dixon was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 2:51 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 111 Linden Ave. concerning an assault.

— At 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 425 Oreo Drive concerning a theft.

— At 6:51 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning a 13-year-old who was assaulted by a 17-year-old at school.
