WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency medical personnel respond to 44 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases and two overdoses.

— At 1:45 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an accident at the intersection of Maple and Broadway streets.

— At 7:06 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an accident at the intersection of Revilo Road and Rolling Hills Lane.

— At 8:39 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to 39 S. Maple St. after a vehicle struck a building.

— At 2:46 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at Shoppers Village Plaza.

— At 10 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a structure fire at 76 Clay St.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Ernest Lee Christopher, 46, was charged Friday with operating on a suspended or revoked license, no brake lights and was served a warrant.

— Tony Sanchez, 22, was charged Friday with operating on a suspended or revoked license and rear license not illuminated.

— Jerry Smith, 48, was charged Sunday with public intoxication of a controlled substance.

— Kimberly M. Sturgille, 35, was charged Friday with non-payment of court costs, fees or fines.

— Kristinna Whisman, 31, was charged Sunday with no or expired registration plates.

— At 12:10 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 102 Buffalo Trace concerning a stereo, speakers and knives taken from a vehicle.

— At 1:25 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 1104 Westwood Drive concerning a domestic dispute.

— At 10:36 a.m. Friday, officers responded to Rolling Hills Lane and Tech Drive concerning a theft from storage buildings.

— At 10:38 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of Main and Depot streets concerning someone entering the Sphar building.

— At 3:22 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of Fulton Road and Oxford Drive concerning a possible DUI.

— At 4:13 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 41 N. Burns Ave. concerning the theft of an instrument.

— At 4:50 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 1100 Interstate Drive concerning a person attempting to break into a vending machine.

— At 9:43 p.m. Friday, officers responded to 225 Oxford Drive concerning possible child abuse.

— At 9:45 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 350 N. Maple St. concerning possible drug activity.

— At 10:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to 40B N. Main St. concerning a domestic dispute.

— At 12:08 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to 118 Stevenson Heights concerning possible drug activity.

— At 6:49 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to 101 Georgia St. concerning a domestic disturbance.

— At 12:03 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 336 Oxford Drive concerning tires slashed on four vehicles.

— At 8:41 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the area of Bypass Road and Brooks Place concerning a possible DUI.

— At 11:06 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to 110 April Way concerning a fake $100 bill.

— At 11:35 p.m. Sunday, officers made a stop for a possible DUI on South Burns Avenue.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

— At 11:14 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to 109 Mimosa Drive concerning theft of $2,000 cash, and a jewelry box containing eight rings and other jewelry.

– At 3:29 p.m. Jan. 3, deputies responded to Trapp Golf Corner Road concerning a stolen dog. Marvin Berry reported he believes his 11-month-old Old English Bulldog was stolen. He said the dog was chocolate-colored with brendile markings and wearing  blue color.

Accidents

— At 7:06 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a wreck in which a 1994 Nissan pickup truck driven by Stephen Birch, 50, of Ironworks Road, was traveling west on Rolling Hills Lane when he entered a curve, slid off the roadway and struck a guardrail head on.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4:04 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to the smell of gas in the 4000 block of Ironworks Road.

— At 1:55 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assists EMS with a call at 125 Sterling St.

— At 7:06 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Revilo Road and Rolling Hills Lane.
