WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to nine general medical calls, two cardiac cases and three respiratory cases.
— At 8:57 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and Pedro Way.
— At 10:27 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 960 Interstate Drive. It was a false alarm.
— At 12:44 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 148 Linden Ave.
— At 1:33 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 151 Spruce Court for smoke in a residence. It was caused by an overheated furnace.
— At 7:18 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 357 W. Washington St. for smoke in a residence. It was caused by a fire on the stove.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Larry Drew Fraley, 33, was charged Tuesday with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
— William Gross, 55, was charged Tuesday with driving without a license and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
— Desiree M. Roe, 20, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
— John D. Roe, 52, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Kyle Tyler Thurman, 29, was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Reports
— At 2:47 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning two suspicious people. Desiree M. Roe and John D. Roe were arrested on multiple charges.
— At 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen vehicle.
— At 9:49 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 34 S. Main St. concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.
— At 1:16 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 26 E. Broadway St. concerning a woman who left without paying for food.
— At 8:53 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 510 Rolling Hills Lane concerning a theft of fuel.
— At 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1221 Bypass Road concerning a suspicious person. Kyle Tyler Thurman was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Accidents
— At 8:56 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Brandy Fugate of 9 Belmont Ave. said she was attempting to turn left onto Pedro Way and did not see any oncoming traffic. She turned and collided with a vehicle driven by Charles Luxmore of 133 Shala Mar Rue. Luxmore said he had a green light at the intersection and the other vehicle turned in front of him. Fugate was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with back, hip and head pain. Luxmore and his passenger, Charles Luxmore of 449 Lasalle Drive, were transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center after complaining of back pain.
