A Winchester man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly touching a boy sexually.

Terrell Cain-Byington, 55, of 500 Treehaven Drive, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for use of electronic communication systems to procure a minor for sex, first-degree sexual abuse and tampering with physical evidence.

According a warrant filed by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the child’s mother told deputies a month ago that her son was being sexually abused. In an interview, the child told detectives that Cain-Byington would touch his private areas. When they slept in the same bed, the child said Cain-Byington would put his hand down the child’s pants.

In court documents, the mother said Cain-Byington asked for nude photos of the child and attempted to masturbate the child.

Detectives said Cain-Byington gave detectives permission to search his cell phone where they found deleted texts with the victim. He also admitted to having nude photos of another juvenile on his phone.

Cain-Byington is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond. All charges are felonies with a maximum sentence of five years each upon conviction.
