Winchester man arrested for incest, sodomy

A Winchester man was arrested this week for multiple counts of incest and sodomy covering more than a decade.

Jeffrey L. Plunk, 56, of 273 Cole Road, was arrested Wednesday on an indictment warrant charging him with two counts of incest with a victim younger than 12, two counts of incest with a victim younger than 18, two counts of first-degree sodomy, two counts of second-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sodomy.

Plunk was indicted in September 2018 but the indictment was sealed until his arrest by Winchester Police on Wednesday. Plunk was not arrested previously and the case was presented directly to the grand jury.

The case was investigated by Winchester Police but further details were not available.

The indictment lists four different victims and incidents occurring between 2007 and 2016.

Plunk is being held on a $100,000 cash bond in the Clark County Detention Center.
