Richard Andrew Shick, 33, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

He was born on January 28, 1986 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana, to Andy and Deanne Gough Shick. He was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, employed at Roof Services, LLC and a United States Veteran of the Kentucky Army National Guard, serving one tour in Kuwait. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, Kylie Nicole Shick; brother, Anthony (Kristen) Shick; grandmothers, Norma Gough and Margaret Shick; aunts and uncles, Susanna (Gary) Siegel, Linda Hooke, Donna (Ronnie) Chapman, Daniel Gough, David (Mary) Gough, Richard (Charlotte) Gough, Debora (Barry) Tuggle and Dale (Kari) Gough; uncle-in-law, Dennis (Joyce) Derr; cousins, Joshua Derr, Sharon Derr, Stefanie (Scott) Wolf, Alec Siegel, Arthur Siegel, Robbie Hooke, Melissa Hooke, Michael (Staci) Gough and son, Chance White, Kristen Gough, Nicholas Burton, Joseph (Amy) Burton and children, Kaylee and Kennedy, Jon (Jessica) Gough and sons, Ethan, Jon and Evan Gough, Jillian (Brian) Feltz and daughter, Sienna Feltz, Andrew Tuggle, Elizabeth Tuggle, Jennifer Tuggle, Grayson Gough, Clayton Gough and Brooke Gough; and girlfriend, Kelly Lane Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Richard Gough and T. Wayne Shick; cousin, Chris Burton and aunt, Leanne Derr.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home by Father Frank Brawner. Burial will be at 10:00AM, Monday, February 25, 2019 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY. Uncles will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home.
