WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to five general medical calls, one cardiac case and three respiratory cases.

— At 10:56 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 30 Beckner St. It was a false alarm.

— At 5:56 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 1919 Rolling Hills Lane for a smell of gas.

— At 5:31 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1025 Early Drive. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 6:43 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a brush fire on Judy Pike.

— At 9:16 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Wills Rupard Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Alan John Smith, 48, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Desmond Dewayne Smith, 26, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

Reports

— At 6:23 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a person causing a problem. Alan John Smith was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
