CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Francis Witham, 42, of Stanton, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence (second offense) and was served a warrant.
— Hebert D. Bradley, 27, of 28 N. Highland St., was charged Thursday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license and possession of an operator’s license while privileges are revoked.
— Scott Hess, 49, of 176 Ford Road, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence, speeding, careless driving and texting while driving.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 30 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, three respiratory cases and two seizures.
— At 3:53 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an oil spill at 875 Bypass Road.
— At 7:50 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at West Lexington Avenue and Maple Street.
— At 10:24 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 175 Hawthorne Drive. It was a false alarm.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 10:04 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a report of smoke near Stuff Recycling, 6169 Lexington Road.
— At 11:25 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Athens-Boonesboro Road.
— At 3:08 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Foxboro Court.
— At 7:53 p.m .Saturday, firefighters were called to 5250 Revilo Road concerning people stuck in an elevator.
— At 10:34 a.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Mitchell Shane Griffith, 36, was charged Friday with possession of marijuana.
— Ian Obrien Higgins, 32, was charged Friday with one headlight, driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
— Jonathon L. Nightingale, 35, was charged Sunday with first-degree promoting contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Reports
— At 10:53 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, for a possible child abuse complaint.
— At 5:12 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 31 E. Washington St. concerning an assault.
— At 10:58 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 27 W. Broadway St. concerning a suspicious person. Jonathon Nightingale was arrested on multiple charges.
— At 1:08 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.
— At 8:58 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 40 Flanagan St. after a cell phone was found in the parking lot.
