CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— William T. Jones, 55, of 319 Main St. Apt. 2., was charged Tuesday with possession of license while privileges are revoked, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, no registration plate, no registration receipt and third-degree burglary.

Reports

— At 6:33 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Bracken Court concerning an assault.

— At 5:41 p.m. Monday, deputies took report concerning a vehicle damaged by a golf ball on Combs Ferry Road.

— At 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 4575 Colby Road concerning a stolen utility trailer.

— At 11:09 a.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 4519 Paris Road concerning a stolen air compressor. William T. Jones was arrested and charged with multiple offenses.

Accidents

— At 9:29 p.m., deputies responded to a non-injury single vehicle accident. Jacquelyn Hawkins, of Ewing, was traveling westbound on Ironworks Road when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle. The vehicle struck the deer with the front bumper causing antifreeze to leak.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted emergency personnel with a call at 350 Ford-Hampton Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Rebecca Groves, 51, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property under $500.

— Clinton Ingram, 36, was charged Wednesday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain insurance.

— Angel Jones, 30, was charged Wednesday with careless driving, failure of non-owner to maintain insurance and operating on a suspended or revoked license.

— Tammy Michelle Palfrey, 49, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense, methamphetamine), buying or possession drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence and known fraudulent use of an ID.

— Jamie Allen Railey, 38, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana.

— Steven Robinson, 28, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault (EMS, fire or rescue squad), public intoxication of a controlled substance, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal mischief.

— Jason T. Spencer, 38, was charged Wednesday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— Meardie Stidham, 42, was charged Wednesday with public intoxication of a controlled substance. 

Reports

— At 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 206 Aubrey Lane for a domestic disturbance.

— At 7:42 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 130 Alabama St. concerning several items stolen from neighbors’ porches.

— At 10:53 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 4 W. Washington St. concerning a women with a large knife in a sheath yelling and screaming at motorists.

— At 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 1221 Bypass Road concerning two large dogs locked in a mini van.

— At 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 708 W. Lexington Ave. concerning someone smoking from a marijuana pipe in the parking lot.

— At 9:18 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the area of French Avenue and Main Street concerning someone who was possibly intoxicated and flipping off vehicles as they staggered in the street.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 12 general medical calls, one cardiac case and one respiratory case.

— At 9:57 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 337 W. Washington St. It was a false alarm.

— At 3:53 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident involving a vehicle and a train at 415 Magnolia St.

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to 13 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, one seizure and one stroke.

— At 11:09 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 702 S. Maple St.
