CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Yaqoob Syed, 38, of 103 Rolling St., was charged Monday with driving on a suspended operator’s license.

Reports

— At 2:25 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Grimes Mill Road and Sidwell Lane after a truck carrying an excavator pulled down several phone lines and damaged a bridge.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 41 general medical calls, one cardiac case, one diabetic case, one stroke, one seizure, two overdoses and one obstetric case.

— At 3:30 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 701 W. Lexington Ave. for a chair on fire.

— At 4:52 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 201 N. Main St.

— At 4:23 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 475 Shoppers Drive.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Rebecca Martha Barnard, 53, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Jasmine L. Fox, 30, was charged Sunday with public intoxication and third-degree criminal trespassing.

— Kelsey L. Gibbs, 24, was charged Sunday with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to produce insurance card, failure to maintain insurance and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Laura Marie Johnson, 46, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Cody Scott Newton, 23, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Lindsey M. Rogers, 34, was charged Saturday with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Sherri Lynn Thornberry, 54, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Travis M. Wilson, 27, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Andrew Ray Worley, 23, was charged  Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 9:57 a.m. Friday, officers were called to Main Street and Barnes Drive after a mower threw a rock and broke a window.

— At 11:16 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 30 Winchester Plaza concerning an employee theft.

— At 4:16 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 7 Leonard Ave. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 6:39 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive for a breaking and entering complaint.

— At 12:15 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 236 E. Broadway St. after people broke into a residence.

— At 1:25 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1500 Bypass Road concerning a stolen trailer.

— At 2:42 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Andrew Worley and Cody Newton were arrested and charged with theft.

— At 6:05 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1 Shoppers Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 6:40 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Fairholme Way after a wallet was found in the middle of the street.

— At 9:55 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Pine Ridge Road.

— At 2:11 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Ford Hampton Road.

— At 3:57 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 91 mile marker.

— At 4:24 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a report of utility lines in the tree at 525 Old Ruckerville Road.

— At 10:10 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Goshen Road.

— At 10:50 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on McDowell Drive.

— At 12:59 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Agawam Road.

— At 3:37 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Wades Mill and Big Stoner roads.

— At 3:34 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 360 Clintonville Road for a smell of smoke.

— At 2:17 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Constitution Drive.
