Spring revival at Corinthian Baptist

Corinthian Baptist Church, 37 Fifth St., will have a spring revival May 29-31. Services will begin at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Moses Redford, pastor of First Baptist Church in Nicholasville. The Rev. Ronald Burns is host pastor.

Services at Liberty Bible Church of God

Services at Liberty Bible Church God are as follows: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday church services, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday evening Bible study, 6 p.m.; and youth group, 6 to 7 p.m. Sundays. The church also provides children’s church and nursery care. The Rev. Lonnie Storms will be preaching.

Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove

On this Memorial Day weekend, as we recall those whose sacrifice has guaranteed our national freedom, the folks at Salem Church at Pinegrove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will remember the One whose sacrifice has purchased our freedom from sin. Join us for worship at 11 a.m. at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus.”

Gospel singing at Evangelistic Outreach

Evangelistic Outreach Church, located at 8 N. Bloomfield Road, hosts gospel singings each Saturday at 6 p.m. Pastor is Ed Hopper. The Praise Singers from Irvine will the guest performers Saturday.

Services at First Christian

First Christian Church, 24 E. Hickman St., offers worship services at 10:45 a.m. Sundays. Special music will be performed by the church’s bell choir. There is a children’s sermon given each Sunday, along with a children’s “Worship and Wonder” class. Communion is served each Sunday and all who attend are invited to share in it. Services include music from the church’s choir, pianist and organist. For more information, call the church at 744-3181.

Events at Trinity UMC

— Trinity United Methodist Church, 307 N. Main St., has Sunday services at 10:30 a.m.

— Trinity United Methodist Church Thrift Store is open every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Food pantry at First Baptist

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., operates a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry is open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.

Services at First Presbyterian

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit.  Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays.
