Battle of the Badges set for Saturday

The Winchester Little League will have its first Battle of the Badges softball tournament Saturday on the Senior League Field at Lykins Park.

The one-day event will feature the Winchester Police Department, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Winchester Fire-EMS against the Mount Sterling Police Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Fire-EMS.

Game times are 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

GRC football  scramble June 8

The George Rogers Clark High School football golf scramble is set for 1 p.m. June 8 at the Winchester Country Club.

The cost is $75 for individual and $300 per team. Registration is online at www.grcfootball.org.
