Two people from Clark County are among 20 environmental educators from across the Commonwealth graduated from the Kentucky Environmental Education Council’s Professional Environmental Educator Certification program at a ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort Monday.
Among the graduates were Erin Sliney and Jaime Moore of Clark County.
KEEC, an agency within the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, is one of only three national certification programs accredited by the North American Association for Environmental Education.
The newly-certified professional environmental educators completed the state’s rigorous PEEC course that was conducted from October 2018 to May 2019.
