The LLL Club met May 21 at Central Baptist Church for the regular monthly meeting and potluck luncheon.

David Hoffman, president, conducted the meeting and gave the invocation.

Hoffman introduced Dara Henry, director of the Central LLL Players, who presented a program of Elvis’ music. Elvis was played by Paul Atchison.

The minutes were read by Gayle Crowe and the treasurer’s report submitted by Phyllis Henderson. Both were approved as read.

Hoffman announced “Out to Lunch” and LLL Club meeting for June and July were canceled.

“Out to Lunch” will be Aug. 6 to Wallace Station in Midway.

“Happy Birthday” was sung to Bob Quick and Gayle Crowe.

Hoffman read the prayer list and Ed Dearing closed the meeting with prayer and gave the table blessing.

Lunch was served to members Mary Dinsmore, Ken and Barbara  Durkin, Patt Gibbs, Jo Gravett, Helen Hannan, Phyllis Henderson, David and Glenda Hoffman, Shirley Labona, Lila Omohundro, JoAnn Palfrey, Bob and Marie Quick, Dr. Bill and Peggy Snowden, Carolyn Steagall, Lunnell Thacker, Sammy Thomas, Carolyn Todd, Mary Watts and Conard and Geraldine Young; and guests Paul and Kay Atchison, Ed Dearing, Gene and Uneva Graves, Ruby Green, Greg Groen, Ken and Dara Henry, Linda Hillary, Jim and Wanda Jones, the Rev. Scott and Lana Ogle, John Powell, and Donald and Brenda Parker.
