“It gave me a little insight to what college would be like, nothing comes easy everything is earned,” she said.

Harrison scored seven points in the two-game series last weekend. The Kentucky All-Stars defeated Indiana 79-74 in the opener at Bellarmine Friday night, but dropped a 76-71 overtime setback Saturday at Indianapolis.

During her career at Clark, Harrison played the No. 2 or 3 position on the court, but primarily was used in the post during the All-Star series against the Hoosiers.

“They had me playing a 4, 5 position which I can handle but it’s a little uncomfortable for me,” she said. “I’m used to the 3 or 2 position.

“I felt I held my own. It’s just one of those things that lets you be able to graduate high school with no regrets.”

Clark coach Robbie Graham was glad to see Harrison compete in the doubleheader last weekend.

“Anytime our players receive postseason recognition, make All-Star teams, it’s a really big deal for our program,” he said. “I’m extremely proud of Hayley and glad to have had the opportunity to coach her.”

Overall, Harrison enjoyed being a part of the prestigious series.

“The coaches kept telling us one day you’ll be able to tell your kids about this moment.

“It really is an exciting and unforgettable experience,” she said.
