CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Robert Fraichard II, 50, of 1455 Irvine Road, was charged Friday with second-degree cruelty to animals.

— Jessica Mefford, 40, of Georgetown, was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication and possession of marijuana.

— Troy O’Bannon, 22, of 313 Essex Court, was charged Sunday with speeding, driving under the influence, no registration plate, no insurance and careless driving.

— Tyler Townsend, 21, of 501 Hollow Road, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

— At 11:46 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to 2551 Two Mile Road after someone broke into a garage and took a number of tools and a handgun.

— At 5:43 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road, concerning a theft of a wallet and checkbook.

Accidents

— At 6:43 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which Ryan Sweeny was driving a utility truck owned by Infinite Communications when the truck dropped off the edge of the road and slid before striking a mailbox and a utility pole. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its left side. Sweeny was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 2:!5 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Veterans Memorial Parkway in which a vehicle driven by Tyler Townsend of 501 Hollow Road was traveling east when he said another vehicle ran a red light and struck his vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle, William G. Kagin of 717 W. Main St., was ejected from his vehicle and transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with possible head and shoulder injuries. Townsend was arrested for driving under the influence and other charges.

— At 2:43 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Paris Road in which a vehicle driven by Thomas Crutcher of 120 Second St. was traveling south when it went off the road and struck a fence. The driver said another vehicle forced them off the road. Crutcher and two passengers, Nathan A. Hall and Kristen L. Walters were all transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with multiple injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to six general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one seizure, one stroke, one overdose and one obstetric case.

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 25 general medical calls, one cardiac case, two respiratory cases, one diabetic case, two seizures and two overdoses.

— At 6:43 a.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5017 Colby Road.

— At 12:49 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 24 Kittison Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 11:35 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 1904 Saxon Court for a smell of natural gas.

— At 3:26 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Redwing Drive and Bypass Road.

— At 2:16 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Mount Sterling Road.

— At 3:51 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Clark County Community Services, 30 Taylor Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 4:59 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 120 Codella Drive for a gasoline spill.

— At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Wades Mill Road.

— At 8:57 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a brush fire near the 89 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 10:33 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm on Cherokee Court.

— At 6:53 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 3371 Colby Road.

— At 10:31 a.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Lynnway Drive.

— At 2:20 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Mount Sterling Road.

— At 10:58 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 275 Terry Drive.

— At 6:29 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 4 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 8:12 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 126 Hibiscus Lane.

— At 12:12 a.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 525 Constitution Drive for an investigation.

— At 2:43 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 6197 Paris Road.

— At 7:44 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted Powell County officials with a mudslide and structure collapse.

Charged

— Ira Brock Daugherty, 35, was charged Friday with first-degree wanton endangerment, driving under the influence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper parking.

— David A. Keene, 36, was charged was charged Friday with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

— Matias Mejia, 32, was charged Sunday with reckless driving, driving on a suspended operator’s license and driving under the influence.

— Jamie E. Sosby, 33, was charged Friday with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Arminda M. Swinford, 43, was charged Thursday with third-degree criminal trespassing and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

— James Martin Webb, 46, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts).

— William Whitaker, 47, was charged Thursday with third-degree assault (two counts), disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

— At 9:59 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 703 Estes Drive for a welfare check. William Whitaker was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 2:15 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 311 Waveland Ave. concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.

— At 3:06 a.m. Friday, officers were called to Boone and Moundale avenues concerning a suspicious person. Ira Daugherty was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 8:16 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 356 Boone Ave. concerning a stolen license plate.

— At 10 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 1 Shoppers Drive concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.

— At 10:32 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 1500 Bypass Road concerning a recovered cell phone and a cigarette pack full of marijuana.

— At 10:49 a.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a vehicle which was damaged during the night.

— At 3:13 p.m. Friday, officers were called to North Maple and Hill streets concerning suspicious people. Jamie E. Sosby was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 3:39 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a forged check.

— At 4:32 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.

— At 4:36 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive concerning a vandalism complaint.

— At 12:44 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to College and Garner streets concerning an assault.

— At 1:05 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 160 Magnolia St. concerning a stolen phone.

— At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 47 Oliver St. concerning an assault.
