CLARK COUNTYSHERIFF

Charged

— Gordon Daniels, 44, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Glenn Townsend, 40, was charged Friday with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, no insurance and no registration plate.

Reports

— At 3:51 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation, 200 Glenway Road, after a tree fell on a vehicle.

— At 8:41 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 745 Log Lick Road concerning a stolen dog.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday and Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 25 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, three strokes, two seizures and two overdoses.

— At 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 95 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 5:23 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Maple and Washington streets.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Fountain Circle, 200 Glenway Road.

— At 10:55 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Wades Mill Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

—J.B. Brumley, 61, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

— David Riley Caudill, 51, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence, careless driving and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

— Quincy D. Dean, 25, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.

— Brenda S. Gill, 63, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.

— Rebecca J. Groves, 51, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence.

— Gary E. Oakley, 23, was charged Thursday with driving on a suspended operator’s license, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and was served a warrant.

— James Donahue Oakley, 27, was charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana and was served a warrant.

— Dana L. Stephenson, 51, was charged Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Zackary David Whalen, 23, was charged Wednesday with trafficking in a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 2:08 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 42 Madison Ave. concerning an assault. Quincy Dean was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an unattended child in a vehicle.

— At 12:57 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 36 Elizabeth St. concerning a stolen lawn mower. It was later found behind the bushes behind the caller’s residence.

— At 3:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., for a fight in progress. Brenda Gill was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

— At 8:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 29 Euclid Ave. concerning a theft from the caller’s accounts.

— At 5:02 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Calloway and Highland streets concerning juveniles taking items from cars.

— At 7:56 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 154 Winn Ave. concerning a stolen car.

— At 8:57 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 19 Fairview Ave. after a wallet was taken from a car during the night.

— At 10:47 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 139 N. Main St. after a window was broken at a business.
