Tim Hampton, 46, passed away July 1, 2019.

He was born March 12, 1973, to the late Harold and Annetta Hampton. He was preceded by his grandmother Della Frazer, Katharine Hampton; sister Melesia Hampton; great nephew Damarcus Clay; an uncle Ronnie Hampton; and an aunt, Lenwood Fondren.

He is survived by a daughter, Xavia Hampton; one goddaughter, Tenesha Israel; one sister, Kathy Hampton; three brothers, Harold Chris Hampton, Kemol Hampton and Harold Norris; uncles, Richard Hampton, Walter Lee Hampton, Edward (Debra) Hampton, Thomas (Bridgette) Hampton, George (Sara) Frazer, Willie Howell; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends from the GRC Class of 1992, Jermaine Hampton, Aaron Israel, Terrell Warner and Steven Strode.

He worked for Kia Motors. He was a 1990-91 football All American where he led the GRC football team to win a state championship title. He was quiet and loved by many and loved the game of football and basketball.

Services will be at noon Saturday at the Ark of Mercy Church on Winn Avenue. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
