The James B Allen Jr. Generation Center will collect yard sale items for an upcoming fundraiser.

Pat Guynn, community service coordinator with KY River Foothills, said the center will accept donations through Aug. 20.

Donors can drop off items from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday 32 Meadow St.

Guynn said the center isn’t accepting large furniture items as it does not have storage to keep the large items.

Guynn said the center appreciates any and all donations, and it will announce the yard sale date later this year.
