Physical therapist Ryan Shelton, pharmacist Julie Lewis and personal trainer Tiffany Fletcher will have a pop-up clinic set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

WCCPR Director Jeff Lewis said the goal of the clinic is to help people get started on their journey to healthy living.

“The pop-up clinic is something that we want to grow as we go forward,” Lewis said. “We’re hoping that it grows into at least a monthly (thing), we’d like to do (it) monthly on a set date and set schedule.”

Lewis said WCCPR wants to give back to the community as much as they can. Another way WCCPR is working to do this is with its monthlong free boot camps.

At 6:15 p.m. on Mondays and 9 a.m. Saturdays, anyone interested in getting healthier can participate, Lewis said, whether you’re a beginner or have more experience in a gym.

The event runs until Aug. 31, during which WCCPR will raffle off a three-month membership. Participants can enter their name, and for every visitor a participant brings, they can get another chance to win.

All events will be at College Park Gym. For more information, call 744-9554.
