CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Jonathan Turner, 37, of 129 Summerhill Way, was charged Monday with fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.

Reports

— At 1:52 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Freedom Metals, 425 Gawthrop Drive, after someone broke into a building and took tools and a truck. The truck and items were left in front of the building, but the keys and gasoline were missing. They also broke into a vending machine.

Accidents

— At 4:49 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident near the 10 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway in which Vona L. Arvin of Irvine was traveling east when her vehicle hydroplanes and struck a vehicle parked on the shoulder. Arvin and her passenger Dennis P. Spicer of Louisville, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to nine general medical calls, one respiratory case and one diabetic case.

— At 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to 170 Pedro Way for a mulch fire.

— At 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 90 mile marker in Interstate 64.

— At 10 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass Road and McCormick Avenue.

— At 4:47 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 360 Mount Sterling Road. It was a false alarm.
