June Lee Willis Daniels, 89, of Winchester, formerly of Russell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2019.

She was born on June 13, 1930 in Carter County to the late Charles and Maggie Smith Willis.

She was the Widow of Charles M. Daniels, former Greenup County Attorney. She was preceded in death by her siblings Boyd Willis, Florence Coffee, Essie Elswick, and Walter Willis. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (John) Wheatley of Winchester and Gloria (David) Sparks of Louisville. In addition, she is survived by her Granddaughter, Whitney Sparks (Steve) Vredenburgh and her children, Ainsley, James, Edward and Isabelle, all of Zionsville, IN and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Russell, KY and had been active in various organizations, including the American Heart Association, Woman’s Club, and Garden Club. She loved her family, friends, the Russell School System, Kentucky Basketball and Greenup County. She was also blessed with wonderful caregivers during the last year of her life.

The service will be at the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Russell on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Ken Gowin officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Church.

In Lieu of flowers donations are suggested to be sent to the First Baptist Church of Russell Kentucky.
