The GRC Lady Cards Soccer team opened up regular season play Monday night traveling to Anderson Co. to take on the Lady Bearcats. After a sluggish first half and down, 3-1, the Lady Cards rallied back to defeat the Lady Bearcats, 8-6.

Senior Delaney Manning led the team with three goals followed by Junior Leslie Hernandez & Freshman Ciana Araya each with two goals and Junior Shelby Vaughn with one.  Freshman goalkeeper Carrie Stevens scooped up twelve saves.

The Lady Cards open up a series of three home games at the GRC Soccer Complex on Thursday, August 15th, when they take on North Laurel at 7:30 p.m..
