Charged

— Debbie L. Sturgill, 55, of 870 Van Meter Road, was charged Monday with theft of services.

— Brian McCann, 42, of Berea, was charged Tuesday with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

— At 2:57 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to Comfort Inn, 5250 Revilo Road, concerning a person who refused to pay for a taxi ride and had no means to pay. Debbie Sturgill was arrested and charged with theft of services.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, one cardiac case, one respiratory case, one diabetic case and one stroke.

— At 3:28 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 124 College St. It was a false alarm.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 5:41 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Red River Road.

— At 1:08 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Colby Road and Sheffield Way.

— At 3:47 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Clintonville Road.

— At 4:37 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Athens Boonesboro Road.

— At 5:25 p.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 308 Potomac Drive for a faulty smoke detector.

Charged

— Jennifer N. Himes, 33, was charged Monday with first0degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Jeffrey Martin, 39, was charged Monday with first-degree criminal trespass.

— Danny Ray Neace, 47, was charged Monday with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 1:26 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 204 Boone Ave. concerning a theft.

— At 2:34 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 113 S. Main St. concerning an assault.

— At 4:24 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 194 Wabash Ave. concerning an assault.
