Clark County Judge-Executive Chris Pace said previously most other taxing districts within Clark County maintained or lowered their rates from last year.

The exception was the Clark County Board of Education, which approved the 4 percent rate.

Pace said the county’s revenue should increase about $30,000, in addition to other budget cuts.

In other action, the court approved the second reading of an ordinance to rezone property at 2101 Old Boonesboro Road from single family residential to planned development. Magistrate Chris Davis recused himself from the vote.
