A Lexington man was arrested after crashing into a parked truck and a house Monday evening.

According to court documents, 33-year-old Martin Pascual was arrested for driving under the influence and no operator’s license following an incident at the corner of Main and Sycamore streets.

Pascual admitted to drinking six beers prior to driving Monday evening, according to the arrest citation filed by Winchester Police.

Pascual reportedly could not complete the field sobriety tests because of his level of intoxication. A portable breathalyzer test indicated the presence of alcohol “well above the legal limit,” according to the arrest citation.

Police said Pascual’s vehicle sideswiped a parked pickup truck and then struck the front porch of a home at 621 N. Main St. around 7 p.m. Monday. Police said Pascual’s Jeep completely removed two columns which supported the porch.

Pascual told officers he hit the truck because it pulled out in front of him. Witnesses, though, said the truck was unoccupied and parked at the time.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Pascual was arrested and lodged in the Clark County Detention Center.
