CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— William King, 27, of 58 N. Main St. Apt. 401, was charged Thursday with no seat belt, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.
Reports
— At 11:37 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 4925 Rockwell Road for a possible scam.
— At 9:11 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to property on Boonesboro Road concerning a powered wheelchair sitting in a field.
— At 5:51 a.m. Friday, deputies took a report concerning a woman who said she was assaulted in a vehicle on Interstate 64 on Oct. 5.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to seven general medical calls, one cardiac case and three seizures.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 11:25 a.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to Stuff Recycling, 6169 Lexington Road, for an investigation.
— At 7:01 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a report of smoke near 100 French Ave.
— At 8:28 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 106 Mary Way for an animal rescue.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Richard Saunders Gussler, 41, was charged Thursday with violation of an EPO/DVO.
— Sancha Laynn Hayes, 41, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and was served a warrant.
— Ronald David Styles, 42, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault.
Reports
— At 12:52 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 12 Memorial Park for an EPO violation. Richard Gussler was arrested for violation of an EPO/DVO.
— At 6:22 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning an investigation of three people attempting to pass a forged check.
— At 3:54 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 31 E. Washington St. concerning a person causing problems. Sancha Hayes was arrested on multiple charges.
— At 4:20 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 125 Boone Ave. concerning possible unsafe living conditions.
— At 4:28 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. for a forgery complaint.
— At 5:52 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Burns Avenue and College Street concerning an assault.
